School District No.48 (SD48) is welcoming new registrations for the upcoming 2024/25 school year starting January 23, 2024, at 8:00 am.

Also has Mr Zigars Cross Country Field trip, upcoming Hot Lunch ordering, a note regarding Valentines, along with some awesome Community events and sign-ups.

During these winter conditions, we want to share a friendly reminder that schools will remain OPEN unless significant damage to a school site or similar circumstances makes it impossible to operate safely (e.g., with no heat). In the unlikely event that there is a school closure, the School District will do its best to communicate this by 7:00 am. School District No. 48 (SD48) offers Early French Immersion for the Squamish area and Late French Immersion for Whistler and Pemberton. The Board of Education follows a budget development process each school year in order to establish the final annual budget for submission to the Ministry of Education and Child Care. This process begins with providing an opportunity for partners to share input toward decision-making through a survey. The survey will be open for input until November 29, 2024. Arriving at school on time allows students to experience positive interactions with others and participate more fully in learning activities. BRE Staff provide information on the benefits of being on time and ask families to re-new their committment to punctuality.
