Ms Frizzle's Magic School Bus Rules ;)

j
Office Information for all our new families and reminders for everyone else! My name really is Ms Frizzle and I embrace all Magic School Bus references! Parents can also call me Kari :)

Absences
If your child is going to be absent, please call the school or email Ms Frizzle at [email protected]. If you are emailing the teacher about their absence, please also cc me in as sometimes teachers haven't had a chance to check emails yet.
You can also leave a voicemail before 8am at 604-898-3651

Sickness & Injury Calls
I will call home for any head bonks/hits/bumps. Sometimes this will be a heads-up call (pun intended- haha), sometimes it will be a request to pick up depending on the severity of injury.
I will call for pick-up if the teacher requests it due to sickness. New coughs, very runny noses, fever and belly aches all warrant going home. Sometimes our kiddos learn they can go home when they say they are sick (but are not) ;) In those cases, we will work together as a team to figure out the best course of action.

Lost & Found
The Lost & Found is past the gym. If you're child has missing items, please come by and check the hangers. If they have lost small items (watches, jewelry, toys), they will be up front with me by the Magic School Bus. Do call or email me for any of those special items as sometimes I have them behind the desk.

Phone & Messages
Please set your after school plans as a family before school.
-Playdates must be arranged the day before. Children will not be allowed to use the phone to set up playdates with friends.
-If your family's plans change, please email your child's teacher by noon in order to have the message delivered.
